THREE FORMER ROYAL MARINES YOMPED 650 MILES THROUGH THE UK AND FRANCE FINISHING AT THE SOMME BATTLEFIELDS ON THE
1ST JULY 2016

THE TEAM COLLECTED 19,240 REMEMBRANCE CROSSES, ONE FOR EACH BRITISH SOLDIER KILLED ON THE 1ST JULY 1916.
EACH CROSS WAS DONATED BY THE PUBLIC ALONG WITH A WW1 VETERENS NAME WRITTEN ON EVERY CROSS.
ALL 19,240 CROSSES WERE PLANTED AT THE SOMME BATTLEFIELD ON THE 1ST JULY 2016
​OVER £14,000 WAS COLLECTED FOR THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION
